- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★April 07, 2019, by Chad McKayGreat selection in every department. I can always find what I need. Much better than Lowe's - the other guy in town. Staff is ok in the departments. If you can find one that is free, they generally know thier stuff. Checkout is usually very fast. Lately, in the last several years, they are stocking more and more non-hardware. The "shoppers" take up a lot of space when they are busy or have a sale. Why is Menard's packed the Thursday before Christmas? Because they sell a bunch of junk like camo backpacks and cheap underwear. Not cool. I need screws and boards, get out of here grandma and pack of kids!
